The Chief Ime Johnson Memorial Foundation (CIJMF) in Eket Local Government of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, a non-profit organization dedicated to community development and poverty alleviation, is proud to announce the commencement of its 2026 Skill Acquisition and Empowerment Program after it official commissioning on the 6th of April 2026.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to honoring the legacy of the late Chief Ime Johnson by fostering economic self-reliance and community growth. The program aims to bridge the unemployment gap by equipping participants with market-ready skills and the entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in today’s economy.
The following names were hand picked after a screening process as beneficiaries to undergo training in Tech, Fashion design, Cinematography and Make-over.

“Education was a cornerstone of Chief Ime Johnson’s philosophy, but he believed that education without practical application limits a person’s potential,” said Mr Jimmy Johnson, Chairman Board of Trustee of the Foundation.
The training will be facilitated by industry experts from Fhenix Africa, Yanky Media, Remcy Aesthetic and Joevict Fashion Services, and will include mentorship sessions on business management, branding, and financial literacy.
